Pre-Installation Check

1. Inspection: Ensured all shipped components were free of damage.

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Preparation:
   • Removed connecting piping from inside the poly tank.
   • Placed the 500-gallon poly tank in the desired location, keeping it on the black stand it was shipped with.
2. Plumbing Connection:
   • Connected plumbing from the existing system to the top of the poly tank.
   • Ran a vent from the poly tank to an outside source.
   • Bolted the tank to the floor/stand, and strapped it to the nearest wall.
3. Component Connection:
   • Removed caps and placed buffer and collectors in series.
   • Connected the piping according to the color-coding:
     • Green: Input to 7000 Buffer
     • Yellow: Output from 7000 Buffer
     • Blue: Input to 3001 Collector from 7000 Buffer
     • No Dot: Output from 3001 ISO collectors to drainpipe
   • Snug fittings without over-tightening to avoid damage.
4. Sealing and Draining:
   • Ensured rubber gaskets were in place on each hose connector.
   • Glued and connected the pipe to the end of the system for draining.
   • Extended a pipe from the end of the system to the desired drain location.
5. Overflow Protection:
   • Connected the one-inch bulkhead at the 400-gallon mark to an overflow container, such as a 55-gallon drum.

1. Leak Check:
   • Perform leak tests at the end of the day or when effluent is piped to the poly tank.
2. Maintenance:
   • Regularly check the system to ensure proper flow and drainage.
   • Monthly inspections of the 3001 collectors’ sight windows are required after the poly tank has been emptied for 12 hours.
   • Use a microbial line cleanser, such as Pristine Environmental's VacuBlu, for extended system life.
